Ron Brown - Lawyer
Ron Brown is a lifelong Oklahoma who has been married for 27 years to his lovely bride and has three wonderful children. Ron graduated undergraduate from Oral Roberts University and his law school degree the University of Oklahoma, earning a Juris Doctorate with Distinction. Ron is a member of the Oklahoma State Bar Association and all of Oklahoma’s federal courts. He has achieved an AV Preeminant Martindale-Hubbell peer-reviewed rating, the gold standard for lawyers. .Ron is also is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA), an national organization committed to educating lawyers to help debtors in bankruptcy.
Ron has extensive experience, having filed more than 4000 bankruptcies and consistently files more bankruptcies each quarter than all other Oklahoma attorneys. Ron loves to litigate in the courtroom, having handled many trials and hearings on discharge complaints, adversary proceedings and bankruptcy motions. More importantly, Ron is skilled in pre-bankruptcy planning. He will meet with you about your financial situation and develop strategy to deal with your creditors in such a way as to make your bankruptcy experience the least stressful as possible.

Gavin Fouts - Lawyer
A lifelong Oklahoma native, Gavin Fouts joined the Brown Law Firm, P.C. in 2015. After receiving his Juris Doctorate in 2018 from the University of Tulsa College of Law and graduating with Highest Honors, Gavin has helped the Brown Law Firm, P.C. expand its bankruptcy and civil litigation practice. While at the University of Tulsa, Gavin focused bankruptcy and secured transactions, receiving the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Law Award and a CALI award for Contracts. An avid reader, Gavin loves spending time with his growing family and camping.

Elizabeth McLearan - Paralegal
Elizabeth McLearan been has serving with Ron Brown at the Brown Law Firm since 2011. She graduated top of her class with an associate degree. She enjoys helping many Oklahoman’s gets back on their feet with their finances. Specifically, Elizabeth has been instrumental as the lead paralegal for the Oklahoma City office for Brown Law Firm. Her passions include her daughter, Sophie, and serving in the children’s ministry at her church. She also enjoys gardening and putting together puzzles.
Chasity Battles - Paralegal
Chasity was born and raised in Tulsa. She has been a paralegal at Brown Law Firm for approximately 1 year. Being a paralegal has been rewarding to her as she enjoys helping others and she gets to do that on a daily basis with our clients. Aside from being a paralegal she is a dedicated mom of three children. She spends most of her time highly involved in their school and extra-curricular activities. They are constantly on the go whether it is practices, cheer competitions or basketball tournaments. If she is able to have free time outside of activities you would find her at home either fixing up the house she recently purchased or hanging out in the backyard.
Jane Payne - Paralegal
As a bankruptcy paralegal at Brown Law Firm Jane Payne does so much more than wrangle paperwork. With more than eight years of bankruptcy and administrative experience she’s dedicated to helping her clients with the personal touch needed to perfect their case, and ultimately better their lives. Jane brings the same boundless energy to her home life and is a dedicated mother, creative sewer, omnivorous reader, amateur chef, and in her “spare” time revels in creating workable budgets for friends and family members.
Pam Mitchell - Paralegal
Pam Mitchell has worked as a Paralegal in the corporate and private sector for over 28 years. She is now in her second tour of duty with the Brown Law Firm. She was the former director of the University of Tulsa Paralegal Program. She enjoys traveling, camping, reading and spending time with my family.
Melody Armstrong - Paralegal
Melody Armstrong has been a part of the Brown Law Firm for one year now and has enjoyed helping people get a fresh start with the Brown Law team. Specifically, Melody focuses on helping chapter 13 clients reorganize their finances. Her passions include hiking, the beach, and spending time with her husband and crazy dog. She is currently studying online at New Mexico State University.
